Turtle Tots in partnership with Entertainment One’s (eOne) Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom, has raised a splashing amount for Global’s Make Some Noise campaign over the last two years, thanks to licensees from all around the country taking part in week-long themed swimming sessions. In total, Turtle Tots have raised a massive £94,337 in support of Global Make Some Noise.
Turtle Tots, who teaches 13,000 babies every week through its nationwide network of licensees, involve their Turtle Tots families in a series of swimming sessions to raise money for Global’s Make Some Noise, which is the official charity of Global, the media and entertainment group. Global’s Make Some Noise supports brilliant small projects across the UK, helping children and their families living with illness, disability or lack of opportunity.
For the annual fundraisers, aptly named ‘Splash Some Noise’, Turtle Tots teamed up with eOne’s animated TV property Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdomto host special fun-filled, musical-themed swimming lessons across its national licensee network.
Inspired by the popular animated series which follows the adventures of Princess Holly and Ben Elf in the magical Little Kingdom, Turtle Tots’ babies enjoy a musical adaption of their usual lessons with themed games, singing and lots of splashing. The sessions take place at the end of September in the run up to Global’s Make Some Noise Day.
To support Splash Some Noise for a second time in 2018, Turtle Tots’ parents were encouraged to ask family and friends to sponsor their young splashers, with all the money raised going to Global’s Make Some Noise, to help amazing small projects up and down the country. These charities provide vital services like music sessions for vulnerable teenagers, clubs for children with autism, advice for young carers, support for youngsters who have lost someone special and much, much more.
For taking part all Turtle Tots’ babies received a special Splash Some Noise certificate and sticker. The top 10 fundraisers from each region were also gifted with a Ben & Holly’s Little Kingdomthemed gift pack.
Emma Bradley, Director of Global’s Make Some Nosie said: “We’re so excited that Turtle Tots made a splash with us again in 2018 in support of our wonderful projects. Thanks to Turtle Tots and their customers raising a massive £94,337, we are able to help so many projects and improve the lives of disadvantaged children and young people across the UK.”
Dan Allen, Turtle Tots’ Managing Director said: “We were really pleased to support Global’s Make Some Noise again in 2018. The work they do in supporting smaller charities is amazing; they really help give projects that struggle to get heard, a voice, as well as much needed financial support. It’s also great for our little splashers; the week-long Ben & Holly themed activities are brilliant fun for everyone involved.”
“The commitment from our parents over the last two years has been truly fantastic; and for our Turtle Tots’ licensees to collectively raise in excess of £94K is a fantastic achievement,” added Dan.
