Our 10 class blocks offer classes for babies from 12 weeks through to pre-school age children.
Turtle Tots offers a fantastic child–centred approach to our learn to swim swim programme. Your little one will learn valuable safety skills and water confidence as well as learning through play. Our classes are specifically designed with the latest scientific research to ensure that your child gets the best start to their swimming journey.
Turtle Tots is an award winning swim school with industry leading teachers who are qualified to the highest level, so you can rest assured that you and your little one are in the best hands during your time in the pool. At Turtle Tots, we teach you to teach your child to swim at a pace that is right for them, though our child-led approach to our progressive programme.
Our classes create a positive environment that fosters strong bonding, trust, respect and communication, leading to a lifelong love of the water.
Venues available for Autumn Term
? Nuffield Health East Kilbride on Mondays 11am-3pm, Thursdays 11am-3pm & Fridays 1pm-3pm
~ W/C 11th September – 10 class term classes for babies from 12 weeks through to pre-school age
?Lessons are 30mins and run for 10 classes per term – we run to school term time with 4 x blocks per year
? Sundrum Holiday park on Mondays 10:30am-1pm & NEW FRIDAY CLASSES from 25th August
~ W/C 21st Aug classes for babies from 12 weeks through to pre-school age
?Lessons are 30mins and run for 10 classes per term – we run to school term time with 3 x blocks per year here (no Winter term)
? The Hillock, Uplawmoor East Renfewshire on Tuesdays 9am -8pm (more days available)
~ Next term TBC at Uplamoor with classes for babies from 12 weeks through to older child age groups and our Aqua Natal for pregnancy

Hi, my name is Clare Gordon and I run Turtle Tots classes in East KiIlbride, Newton Mearns & South East Ayrshire. As your teacher I am here to support you and your baby throughout your swimming journey and will always be on hand to guide and reassure you. Our teachers are all trained to the highest possible industry standards and are passionate about their role in your little one’s swimming journey.
? WE ARE SPECIALISTS IN TEACHING BABIES AND TODDLERS
Turtle Tots lessons are truly child-centred. Each child is nurtured and activities are adapted to meet each individual’s needs. By the time you have reached the end of our baby programme we have taught you all the separate techniques and practices necessary for independent swimming. Our highly trained and skilled teachers ensure lessons are fun and sociable for everyone, whilst teaching your child essential life-saving skills.

Hi everyone, I’m Clare and I run Turtle Tots East Kilbride, Newton Mearns & South East Ayrshire. When the opportunity arose to run a Turtle Tots business I took a leap of faith after being a teacher for 5 years. I was first introduced to the Turtle Tots magic after taking my first daughter to a class which we both loved! My passion for teaching babies and toddlers to swim is obvious as I never stop smiling during teaching the lessons -it truly is a dream job. I can't wait to welcome you!

Loll joined us from our neighbours at Turtle Tots Glasgow, and we are delighted to have her on our team! She is a wonderful teacher with a wealth of knowledge as an open water swimming coach and yoga teacher, and a passion & knowledge of swimming as a ex-competitive swimmer herself. Loll teaches our East Kilbride classes, and has nurtured our little Turtles at this pool since joining us. She has a wonderful, calming energy in the water and will ensure taught your swimmers are learning their key safety skills alongside their skills and water confidence activities at this weekly class. 🐢

We are so delighted to welcome Christine to our little team at Turtle Tots Christine is our new teacher at East Kilbride, and teaches on Fridays 🐢 Christine has undertaken our intense Turtle Tots training in Bristol to equip her with all the specialist knowledge to deliver our award-winning learn to swim programme - a HUGE well done 🏆 We have received some great feedback already from some of our swimmers who look forward to their weekly class with her!
