Turtle Tots East Surrey
Hey, I’m Charlotte.
I own and run Turtle Tots East Surrey and West Sussex. I launched our swim school back in January 2014 and have never looked back, I enjoy every single moment be it in the pool or in the office.
My career began in childcare when I worked in a nursery after qualifying at college, I then went on to nanny for the most wonderful family for 8 years. When the youngest child I was nannying began full-time school it felt like the right time to begin a new adventure which is when I came across the opportunity of owning and running my very own Turtle Tots business and I dived straight in!
Since launching Turtle Tots at the beginning of 2014 the school has grown and we currently have 5 super teachers in the team.
Whilst running Turtle Tots we have also managed to grow two of our own little Turtles, Thea 3.5 and Heidi, 5 months, our little ‘lockdown baby’ 🙂
Director & Swimming Teacher
I launched Turtle Tots in January 2014 and have not looked back since. I began teaching in the pool whilst nannying for a wonderful family with three fab children who were all very good swimmers. Now, over six years later I have two Turtles of my own, Thea who is 3.5 years old and Heidi, born just before lockdown, who is yet to begin her swimming journey :-) I am predominantly based in the office but hope to meet you at your little ones class very soon :-)
Administrator & Swimming Teacher
In January 2014 I began Turtle Tots with my 3 yr old daughter & son of 6m. Our swimming day very quickly became our favourite day of the week! Watching my children build their confidence in the pool, learning new skills & having so much fun filled me with complete joy. I was so proud when they both started swimming independently at such young ages! I became a Turtle Tots teacher in April 2015 and absolutely adore every second of it! I've since introduced baby no:3 to the water!
Aqua-Natal Yoga Teacher
Working with pregnant people since 2015, I’ve had the privilege of teaching Turtle Tums aquanatal yoga to hundreds of women. It’s a pleasure to help and support so many as they navigate the physical and emotional changes and challenges pregnancy and birth can bring. I love combining my skills as an aquanatal yoga teacher, birth preparation course facilitator and birth doula, approaching our session holistically. I love seeing beautiful relationships form between mother & baby in the water.
I became a Turtle Tots teacher in 2018. This was a complete career change for me as I have always had a desk job but never truly fitted in or enjoyed my job. I can honestly say being a Turtle Tots teacher is the BEST and most FULFILLING job ever. I adore working with children and seeing carers and their little ones connect and enjoy the water. Its moments like these that makes my job so very special.
I started Turtle Tots with my son in 2014, aged 20 months, because he had no fear around water. In 2015 my newborn daughter started her Turtle Tots journey aged 5 weeks. I loved the lessons wishing I could be a Turtle Tots teacher. Four years later and the opportunity presented itself so I jumped at the chance. I love every single minute of being a Turtle Tots teacher. I am proud that I get to witness all of your swimming journeys and help you and your child be confident in and around the water!
