From the first dip of the toe, Turtle Tots is a magical journey between parent and child, developing water confidence, safety, and swimming skills through our unique and multi award-winning, child-led swimming programme.
Turtle Tots Central Scotland and SE Ayrshire is run by Clare Gordon. Along with her team of world-class swimming teachers, they offer swimming lessons for babies, toddlers, 3 and 4 year olds from their lovely warm pool facilities in Perthshire, Stirling, Falkirk, West Lothian, South Lanarkshire, East Renfrewshire & Ayrshire.
Our supportive and child-led swimming lessons for babies, toddlers and preschoolers offer a wonderful bonding experience, packed with songs and games to ensure that you and your little one enjoy your time in the pool together and develop a life-long love of the water. Our programme is taught by our fully qualified and highly skilled teachers who are trained to the highest possible standards. They have an in-depth understanding of early years communication and are attuned to your child’s needs to ensure that every skill is taught at a pace that is right for them.

Clare
Hi everyone, I’m Clare and I own Turtle Tots Central Scotland & South East Ayrshire.
When the opportunity arose to run a Turtle Tots business I took a leap of faith after being a teacher for 5 years.
I was first introduced to the Turtle Tots magic after taking my first daughter to a class which we both loved!
My passion for teaching babies and toddlers to swim is obvious as I never stop smiling during teaching the lessons -it truly is a dream job.
I can’t wait to welcome you to our award-winning classes across Perthshire, Stirling, Falkirk, West Lothian, North & South Lanarkshire, East Renfrewshire and Ayrshire! -
Loll
Loll joined us from our neighbours at Turtle Tots Glasgow, and we are delighted to have her on our team!
She is a wonderful teacher with a wealth of knowledge as an open water swimming coach and yoga teacher, and a passion & knowledge of swimming as a ex-competitive swimmer herself.
Loll teaches our East Kilbride classes on Mondays & Thursdays, and has nurtured our little Turtles at this pool since joining us. She has a wonderful, calming energy in the water and will ensure that your swimmers are learning their key safety skills alongside their swimming and water confidence activities at their weekly class. -
Aynsley
We are so delighted to have Aynsley as part of our team at Turtle Tots.
She is our newest teacher at East Kilbride on Fridays and also teaches our Ayrshire classes at Sundrum
Aynsley has undertaken our intense Turtle Tots training in Bristol to equip her with all the specialist knowledge to deliver our award-winning learn to swim programme to our little Turtles every week.
We have received some great feedback already from some of our swimmers who look forward to their weekly class with her! She has a wonderful, kind nature in the water and will ensure your swimmers are learning their key safety skills alongside swimming and water confidence activities at their weekly class. -
Corina
Corina joined Turtle Tots as a teacher back in 2016. Corina had previously attended Turtle Tots classes, with her daughter Robyn. Robyn started classes when she was 3 months old and it soon became the highlight of their week.Corina teaches our award-winning classes at Fauldhouse on Fridays and Braes High School & James Young High School on Sundays.Corina said, “My favourite aspect of this job is seeing the achievements of all of my little turtles and how much they love swimming.” -
Katie
We are so delighted to have Katie as part of our team at Turtle Tots.
She is our teacher at Dunblane Hydro on Fridays and also teaches our Perthshire classes at Kilgraston School on Sundays.
She has a wonderful, kind nature in the water and will ensure that your swimmers are learning their key safety skills alongside their swimming and water confidence activities at their weekly class. Our Turtles really look forward to their weekly class with Katie. Katie says “When I started Turtle Tots with my first son 7 years ago it was the highlight of our week! It didn’t take long for me to realise I wanted to be a teacher and I can’t wait to help you start your Turtle Tots journey. See you in the pool!” -
Hannah
Hannah joined Turtle Tots as a teacher in 2023. Before joining Turtle Tots Hannah was teaching swimming to older children and adults. Her love of swimming started as a child when she was a competitive swimmer. Her two boys are about to embark on their Turtle Tots journey.Hannah teaches our award-winning classes at Fauldhouse and Bo’Ness on Saturdays.Hannah said, “I’m excited to be back in the water teaching your little ones the fun but important skill of swimming and water safety..”

We have throughly enjoyed our block with TT.
The classes have really helped build my confidence in the pool with my baby. Classes are well paced, instructions are clear & you can take everything at the pace you feel comfortable with.

We started turtle tots at baby level 1 and are now starting toddler level 4 it’s safe to say both my son and I love the classes and seeing the progress he has made is unbelievable. I have since had another baby who has started baby level 1 and he too is loving the water. The confidence it builds and the safety aspects the classes teach them is fantastic. We will continue with the classes for as long as we can we love it.

Great classes and my son loves them. One of the downsides and it’s a fairly big one is the communication between the club and members. Myself and my friend both have issues getting in touch with someone, sometimes waiting over a week for a response. The emails tend to go to my junk/spam but regularly it’s 4 or 5 days for a reply which isn’t ideal when you wish to book make up classes (which doesn’t work on the app) or ask anything. Otherwise the classes are brilliant

I’ve been taking Harris to Turtle Tots since he was 4 months old. He absolutely loves it & learns water safety while having fun. Would highly recommend to any new parents, its the best baby class we go to.
