Turtle Tots teaches 12,000 babies every week through its nationwide network of licensees, and will be involving their Turtle Tots families in a series of swimming sessions to raise money for Global’s Make Some Noise, which is the official charity of Global, the media and entertainment group. Global’s Make Some Noise supports brilliant small projects across the UK, helping children and their families living with illness, disability or lack of opportunity.
For 2018’s fundraiser, aptly named ‘Splash Some Noise’, Turtle Tots will be teaming up once again with eOne’s animated TV property Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdomto host special fun-filled, musical-themed swimming lessons inspired by the popular animated series which follows the adventures of Princess Holly and Ben Elf in the magical Little Kingdom. These will take place at the end of September in the run up to Global’s Make Some Noise Day on Friday 5thOctober 2018.
Turtle Tots’ babies will enjoy a fun adaption of their usual lessons during the week-long event; which will include Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdomthemed games, singing and lots of splashing.
To support Splash Some Noise, parents are encouraged to ask family and friends to sponsor their young splashers, with all the money raised going to Global’s Make Some Noise, to help amazing small projects up and down the country. These charities provide vital services like music sessions for vulnerable teenagers, clubs for children with autism, advice for young carers, support for youngsters who have lost someone special and much, much more.
All Turtle Tots’ babies taking part will receive a special Splash Some Noise certificate and sticker. The top fundraiser in each area will also win a Ben & Holly’s Little Kingdomthemed gift pack.
Emma Bradley, Director of Global’s Make Some Nosie said: “We’re so excited that Turtle Tots will be making a splash with us again this year in support of our wonderful projects. Last year, they smashed their £25,000 target by raising an incredible £55,000. Thanks to Turtle Tots and their customers, we’ve been able to help so many projects and improve the lives of disadvantaged children and young people across the UK. We look forward to making an even bigger noise with Turtle Tots this year.”
Dan Allen, Turtle Tots Managing Director said: “We are proud to support Global’s Make Some Noise. The work they do in supporting smaller charities is amazing; they really help give projects that struggle to get heard, a voice, as well as much needed financial support. It’s also great for our little splashers; the week-long Ben & Holly themed activities are brilliant fun for everyone involved.”
“The commitment from our parents last year was truly fantastic; raising £55,000 in one week is no mean feat. Here’s looking forward to this year’s Splash Some Noise campaign and raising lots more money for such important causes,” added Dan.
Turtle Tots will host Splash Some Noise in their baby swimming lessons from 28thSeptember 2018. The amount raised will be announced on Global’s Make Some Noise Day on Friday 5thOctober, when some of the UK’s best-loved radio stations unite with some of the biggest names in the world of music and entertainment to make lots of noise for brilliant small charities across the UK.
