From the first dip of the toe, Turtle Tots is a magical journey between parent and child, developing water confidence, safety, and swimming skills through our unique and multi award-winning, child-led swimming programme.
Turtle Tots South West Sussex is run by Laura Rogers. Along with her team of world-class swimming teachers, they offer swimming lessons for babies, toddlers, 3 and 4 year olds from their lovely warm pool facilities in Littlehampton, Eastergate, Angmering, and Durrington.
Our supportive and child-led swimming lessons offer a wonderful bonding experience, packed with songs and games to ensure that you and your little one enjoy your time in the pool together and develop a life-long love of the water. Our programme is taught by our fully qualified and highly skilled teachers who are trained to the highest possible standards. They have an in-depth understanding of early years communication and are attuned to your child’s needs to ensure that every skill is taught at a pace that is right for them.

Laura
Hi I am Laura, I own and run Turtle Tots South West Sussex. I am the voice at the end of the phone or email. I absoutley love to teach little ones and to see their confidence grow. Inbetween teaching and admin I do like to come round to all the pools to say hi to everyone.

Donna
Donna has been with the team since November 2018 and is loved by parents and children like. She is a great asset to the business bring fun, enthusiasm and well more FUN!
She is a mum herself of two gorgeous little ones, so is well aware of the trials and tribulations of being a parent.

Vicki
Vicki is our newest member of the team joining us in May 2023, but she has already settled in and feels part of the furniture. She has spent the last 21 years as a teacher in a primary school but felt that it was time for a change, so she went off and obtained her STA Award Qualification in 2022. She has a wealth of knowledge about how little ones learn and has fully embraced the Turtle Tots way.

We love turtle tots, my little one is quite shy and not very confident especially around new people, however he loves Donna and she has really built up an amazing relationship with him. He has come on so much from when we first started and is so confident around water.

I’ve been taking my son to Turtle Tots since he was 6 weeks old – he’s now 4.5 years – and we’ve loved every minute of it! The emphasis is on enjoyment of the water, safety in the water, and bonding between the ‘tot’ and the adult in the pool with them.
Fontwell Physio pool is perfect- warm, local… The teachers have all been exceptional – attentive to each child’s needs, inventive with games, and always with bags of energy! My son has come on so far, loving the water (especially jumping in!), the friends he’s made during class, and being cheeky with the instructors! He’s now a determined little mover in the pool and, being fully supported through some ups and downs along the way (as all the kids go through) he’s come out with tremendous confidence.
The Turtle Tots journey has been a truly unforgettable part of our lives – the one activity we’ve stuck with all this time – and it even started before my son was born, when I joined Turtle Tums, a few months pregnant! Very professional and fun lessons, the little one loved it. I was a bit worried that he would not last the whole session as he stopped swimming for a while and hates getting water on his face but he really enjoyed it. He said after the session ‘that was fun’. Highly recommend.

Had lessons at Littlehampton Marina with Donna. Perfect mix of learning/safety whilst having fun. Small classes and very age appropriate. I would highly recommend Turtle Tots.
