We always follow the Swimming Teachers\u2019 Association<\/a> (STA) guidelines. A pool that is too cold can lead to discomfort, shivering, and even hypothermia, making your little ones first experience in the pool unpleasant and potentially dangerous. On the flip side, a pool that is too warm can also be detrimental, leading to overheating or lethargy. For optimal comfort and safety, we operate our swimming lessons in pools that can be heated to the recommended temperature which is 32\u00b0C for babies under 3 months or 12 lbs, and slightly less for older babies. A properly heated pool ensures your baby can relax, enjoy the sensory experience of the water, and focus on learning, rather than being distracted by the chill.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
