Turtle Tots Gloucestershire - Our Pools
St Roses School
The pool at St Rose's is a hydrotherapy pool and is lovely and warm between 33-36 degrees with lots of natural light. We hire the pool exclusively for Turtle Tots use. We are allowed access to the pool 15 mins before that start of the first classes. Please do not arrive any earlier than 3.45pm on a Thursday & 12.30pm on a Friday.
Address: St Roses School, Stratford Lawn , Stroud, GL5 4AP Parking: Parking is free of charge at the school. Please park in the visitors car park at the front of the school. If this is full, there is another car park towards the rear of the school, you will need to approach the gates for them to be opened (past the pool building on your left, turn right just past the blue shed doors).
If you use the rear car park please do not park near the sensory garden during the week as mini buses arrive at 3pm to collect the students and they need clear access to load the students onto the buses.
We are also allowed to park on the grass at the end of the car park in dry weather. The pool building is the new modern glass fronted building. Report to reception where you'll be asked to sign in and take the lift to the first floor to the swimming pool area. Please remember to sign out when you leave, thank you.
Changing rooms: There are two communal changing rooms, plastic tubs are provided to put your belongings in to keep them clean and dry and to leave the changing room free for the next class to change. We do not recommend you use the disabled beds for changing your baby as they could roll and fall off. We recommend changing your baby on the floor using a Roll & Go mat or change mat. The first changing room is for ladies and the second changing room is for men. Ladies are also able to use the pool side staff changing room if needed. If you are changing your baby and you are dry (i.e. haven't been in the pool) you can use the changing mats in the hall. Please do not get changed pool side.
Attire:
Your little ones will need to wear a re-usable or disposable under nappy and swim nappy over the top.. no warma required at this pool as the water is lovely and warm.
