This pool is a comfortable 30-31 degrees, and a depth varying from 1m to 2m. Both
parents are welcome in the pool to enjoy your lessons together , however if the class
is full and everyone has both parents in, it can feel a little busy – if this is the case we
may ask for you to take it in turns as we want everyone to be able to enjoy a relaxed
class with lots of space – this will be judged by your teacher on an individual class
basis :) On entering the building, turn left and all the way to the end of the corridor, changing
rooms are then on the right, females first and males further down.
Your pushchair would not be required to access the pool
building , however if you are walking to the pool rather than in the car , you may leave
your pushchair outside the changing rooms – Please note that this area is unattended
by Turtle Tots staff and is therefore left at your own risk.
Parking: As you turn into the school, you will immediately turn left, follow the signs for the
swimming pool down a little narrow road all the way to the end. There is ample free
parking outside the facility.
Changing rooms: Please remove your shoes before entering the changing rooms, there is a shelving unit
available for storing shoes just before the entrance door.
The safest place to change your baby is on the floor, so bring with you an extra towel
or one of our ‘Roll & Go‘ change mats to make it nice and comfy!
The changing rooms will only be used by other Turtle Tots babies whilst you are in
your class, so please leave your things nice and tidy, or feel free to bring your
belongings to poolside, as there is lots of room.
You may wish to give your baby an initial dry off at poolside after your class to allow a
couple of extra minutes changeover of babies in and out of the changing rooms – the
space is limited , so this is an option to allow you more room once the next baby’s are
in their class.
Spectators are more than welcome on poolside, please ensure that all spectators wear the removable blue pool shoe covers provided at the pool entrance area or removes their shoes before entering the pool room.
