From the first dip of the toe, Turtle Tots is a magical journey between parent and child, developing water confidence, safety, and swimming skills through our unique and multi award-winning, child-led swimming programme.
Turtle Tots Trafford and Haydock is run by Jen Perry. She offers our award-winning swimming lessons for babies, toddlers, 3 and 4 year olds from their lovely warm pool facilities in Hale Barns and Haydock.
Our supportive and child-led swimming lessons offer a wonderful bonding experience, packed with songs and games to ensure that you and your little one enjoy your time in the pool together and develop a life-long love of the water. Our programme is taught by our fully qualified and highly skilled teachers who are trained to the highest possible standards. They have an in-depth understanding of early years communication and are attuned to your child’s needs to ensure that every skill is taught at a pace that is right for them.

Jennifer Perry
Jen joined Turtle Tots in the summer of 2021, she has previously worked supporting young adults and children with learning disabilities to access social opportunities and education. Jen is passionate about children gaining gaining water confidence and safety skills while learning to swim in a fully inclusive environment. Jen is happiest when the children are happy, engaging and most of all having fun while learning. Jen teaches at Hale and Haydock. After two years of teaching for another franchise owner Jen took the plunge and bought her own franchise, she is excited for the future and what this new challenge will bring.

I take my granddaughter to Jen at The Marriott in Hale Barns. The pool itself is beautiful and always a great temperature which is a great start for little ones. Jen is very friendly and patient and has an excellent way with the children. My granddaughter is on her 2nd session of lessons with the 4 and unders, she is the oldest, and the majority are now swimming, one like a dolphin!, or starting to swim unaided and they all thoroughly enjoy their lessons. Highly recommended
