Baby, Toddler & Preschool Swimming Lessons at Three Ways School

General Overview

We teach baby, toddler and big swimmer classes at Three Ways in Bath on a Wednesday late afternoon/evening.

Before you attend lessons, you’ll need to make sure your little one has all the correct swim kit
to wear to prevent any accidents in the pool if they’re not toilet trained. We know it can be daunting to know what to buy,
so here are the two options…..

Option 1. The Double Nappy System
Your baby wears a reusable or disposable swim nappy. And over that they wear an approved neoprene
swim nappy, such as a Happy Nappy. For a little more warmth we recommend your little one also wears a
Baby Wrap or a Warm In One over the double nappy system. However, some of the great products we sell
incorporate the Happy Nappy, including the Happy Nappy Costume and Happy Nappy Wetsuit, so your
baby simply needs a reusable or disposable swim nappy underneath each of these swimsuits.

Option 2. The Happy Nappy DUO
The Happy Nappy DUO is an all-in-one double nappy system which means there’s no need for a reusable
OR disposable swim nappy underneath it, helping the environment and making life easier!
It fits snugly and has a leak proof outer layer just like a regular Happy Nappy, but inside is a highly
effective silver lining which is extremely gentle on your child’s skin, but highly effective at preventing any
accidents in the pool. Plus it has a naturally antibacterial layer to help stop the spread of infections.
Again, for a little more warmth we recommend your little one also wears a Baby Wrap or a Warm In One
over the Happy Nappy DUO. Please note the Happy Nappy DUO is not suitable to wear with the Happy
Nappy Costume or the Happy Nappy Wetsuit.

Catch Up Classes – We understand that you might have to miss a class or two during the term so we provide catch ups lessons which are capped at two per term. Once you join Turtle Tots you will be given access to an online account that allows you to mark your absences and then view the classes that are available for catch ups. The catch ups can be taken at any point within the term that they’re missed and you don’t have to go to the same pool as you’re booked into for your weekly classes.

All of our lessons require an adult in the pool with the swimmer.

Parking

There is ample free parking in the school car park.

Changing Rooms

Male and female changing areas. Please arrive no more than 10 minutes before the start of your class and adults need to turn up beach ready with swimming stuff on underneath their clothes. Pre-lesson changing takes place in the changing rooms. Following the lesson, please head to the changing rooms to get dressed and you'll have 20 minutes to get changed and depart.
