From the first dip of the toe, Turtle Tots is a magical journey between parent and child, developing water confidence, safety, and swimming skills through our unique and multi award-winning, child-led swimming programme.
Turtle Tots Central Scotland is run by Clare Gordon. Along with her team of world-class swimming teachers, they offer swimming lessons for babies, toddlers, 3 and 4 year olds from their lovely warm pool facilities in Perthshire, Stirling, Falkirk, West Lothian, South Lanarkshire, East Renfrewshire & Ayrshire.
Our supportive and child-led swimming lessons for babies, toddlers and preschoolers offer a wonderful bonding experience, packed with songs and games to ensure that you and your little one enjoy your time in the pool together and develop a life-long love of the water. Our programme is taught by our fully qualified and highly skilled teachers who are trained to the highest possible standards. They have an in-depth understanding of early years communication and are attuned to your child’s needs to ensure that every skill is taught at a pace that is right for them.

Clare
Hi everyone, I’m Clare and I own Turtle Tots Central Scotland.
When the opportunity arose to run a Turtle Tots business I took a leap of faith after being a teacher for 5 years.
I was first introduced to the Turtle Tots magic after taking my first daughter to a class which we both loved!
My passion for teaching babies and toddlers to swim is obvious as I never stop smiling during teaching the lessons -it truly is a dream job.
I can’t wait to welcome you to our award-winning classes across Perthshire, Stirling, Falkirk, West Lothian, North & South Lanarkshire, East Renfrewshire and Ayrshire! -
Aynsley
We are so delighted to have Aynsley as part of our team at Turtle Tots.
She is our senior teacher at East Kilbride our Ayrshire classes at Sundrum
Aynsley has a wealth of swimming teaching experience, which coupled with our intensive Turtle Tots training in Bristol has equipped her with all the specialist knowledge to deliver our award-winning learn to swim programme to our little Turtles every week.
We always receive great feedback from our swimmers and families who look forward to their weekly class with her! She has a wonderful, kind nature in the water and will ensure your swimmers are learning their key safety skills alongside swimming and water confidence activities at their weekly class. -
Corina
Corina joined Turtle Tots as a teacher back in 2016. Corina had previously attended Turtle Tots classes, with her daughter Robyn. Robyn started classes when she was 3 months old and it soon became the highlight of their week.Corina teaches our award-winning classes at Fauldhouse on Fridays and Braes High School & James Young High School on Sundays.Corina said, “My favourite aspect of this job is seeing the achievements of all of my little turtles and how much they love swimming.” -
Katie
We are so delighted to have Katie as part of our team at Turtle Tots.
She is our teacher at Dunblane Hydro on Fridays and also teaches our Perthshire classes at Strathallan School on Sundays.
She has a wonderful, kind nature in the water and will ensure that your swimmers are learning their key safety skills alongside their swimming and water confidence activities at their weekly class. Our Turtles really look forward to their weekly class with Katie. Katie says “When I started Turtle Tots with my first son 7 years ago it was the highlight of our week! It didn’t take long for me to realise I wanted to be a teacher and I can’t wait to help you start your Turtle Tots journey. See you in the pool!”

My daughter is 6 and has come to the end of her Turtle Tots journey. We have absolutely loved swimming over the years with Corina – we are very glad we are continuing with our 2 year old! She is so knowledgeable, kind and has been a great teacher, to both of our girls. We joined Turtle Tots following the pandemic. We had been part of a similar swim school in Edinburgh prior to this.. but I would say the Turtle Tots experience was much more enjoyable (and slightly cheaper!). Corina definitely nurtures each child differently, as per their personality and abilities. I can’t recommend her and Turtle Tots enough!

I’ve been going to Turtle Tots since my little one was 6 months, she turns two next month! It’s been a great journey and can’t imagine taking her anywhere else. Aynsley is a fantastic instructor and all the kids get so excited when it’s their turn to swim with her I am excited to see how Emily’s swimming develops further at our future lessons.

I’m delighted to share my thoughts on Turtle Tots swimming lessons. My little girl adores these classes! They’re not just fun, but also incredibly relaxed. What I appreciate most is that there’s never any pressure to do anything we’re not comfortable with.
As someone who’s never been confident in swimming myself, it’s been a great experience attending these lessons. The instructor’s constant support puts me at ease.
