What age can my baby start swimming?

⭐ When can babies start swimming? ⭐
💚 Babies can start as early as you’d like! They have a natural affinity with water and it’s safe to swim with them straight away at one of our Hydrotherapy pools.
💚 When booking, look out for classes at hydrotherapy pools as these are kept at a minimum temperature of a snuggly 34°C, so babies under 12 weeks or 12lbs are kept warm.
💚 All of our other pools are suitable once babies are 12 wks OR 12lbs in weight
💚 NHS guidelines state babies can go swimming both before their vaccinations so there’s no need to wait.
💚 Swimming is an essential life skill, and introducing your baby to the water can be a beautiful bonding experience for both of you.
