From the incredible mums who bring their little ones to our classes, to our dedicated teachers and the strong, supportive network of franchisees we’ve built, women are at the heart of everything we do. As we look forward to celebrating International Women’s Day 2025, we want to take a moment to celebrate the strength, resilience, and sheer brilliance of women everywhere, and especially within our Turtle Tots family.

International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women.  The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women’s equality. This years’ theme – #AccelerateAction emphasizes the importance of taking swift and decisive steps to achieve. At the current rate of progress, it will take until 2158, which is roughly five generations from now, to reach full gender parity, according to data from the World Economic Forum. In our eyes, this isn’t good enough. So, together, let’s #AccelerateAction to speed up the rate of progress worldwide.

Whether it focuses on equality, empowerment, or celebrating achievements, we know that women are constantly making waves – both in and out of the pool!

Why Celebrating International Women’s Day Matters to Turtle Tots:

• Empowering Mums: Motherhood is a journey filled with incredible highs and challenging lows. We see the dedication and love our mums pour into their little ones every day. Our classes provide a space for mums to bond with their babies, build confidence, and find a supportive community. We want to celebrate the strength and resilience of all mothers.
• Celebrating Our Teachers: Our incredible world-class teacher are predominantly women, and they are the backbone of Turtle Tots. They are passionate, knowledgeable, and dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for babies and toddlers to learn to swim. They are role models, mentors, and friends.
• Building a Supportive Community: Turtle Tots is more than just a swimming class; it’s a community. We see women supporting each other, sharing experiences, and building lasting friendships. This network of support is invaluable, and we are proud to foster it.
• Championing Future Generations: By teaching babies and toddlers to swim, we are not just giving them a skill for life; we are building their confidence and setting them up for a lifetime of healthy activity.
