SEN swimming lessons for Halton residents

Turtle Tots Trafford South, Haydock and Halton are working in collaboration with Halton Borough Council to offer swimming to children with SEN.
One to one supported swim lessons.
Funded via disabled children’s short breaks service they offer part funded one to one swimming lessons, each child will have a one to one staff member in the pool and the lesson will then be delivered by a qualified swim teacher, the lessons will follow your child’s pace and capabilities with a huge emphasis on water confidence and safety. These sessions run Sunday afternoons and are prebooked, the cost of these lessons are £7.50 per session contact Jen to book Jen.perry@turtletots.com.

Splash and play sessions
These are funded via disabled children’s services and are a chance for your child to play and splash in the water, whether it be to get them used to being in a pool or to help meet their sensory needs, these sessions run Tuesday (after school) and Sunday afternoons. These are FREE pre-bookable sessions, email jen.perry@turtletots.com to book.

Swimming lessons for people with SEND aged 10-25
Funded via a youth grant these sessions are small group lessons, maximum class size of six with two teachers, we also have some limited availability to be able to offer a sensory style swim for those that cannot manage within a group class. These lessons are part funded, and part self-funded with a cost of £7.50 per lesson.
