General Overview

Payment Details

The booking fee is £80, approximately 50% of a standard termly booking fee. The remaining term fees are due at the end of your first week of lessons, and will be calculated based on the number of weeks left in the term at the time of booking. After making your booking, you’ll receive both an enrolment confirmation listing all the details specific to your chosen pool, and an invoice detailing your second payment amount and due date.

Welcome Packs

All students joining our lessons for the first time at either our baby or toddler levels must purchase a Welcome Pack, this will be mailed to you shortly after booking.  Welcome Packs cost £5 per student, we will include this fee on your first term invoice.  For students joining later at our preschool levels, or returning after a break, they do not need to purchase a Welcome Pack and this charge will not be included on your invoice.

Attire

All children not yet potty-trained must wear either a Double Nappy (both a disposable or reusable swim nappy, and a Happy Nappy) to baby and toddler swimming lessons at Belfast Royal Academy. We also recommend a thermal layer (Baby Wrap, Warm In One, or Thermaswim) to keep children comfortable and warm for their full 30 minute session. Please note that lycra-type swimwear is designed for outdoor use only and is not designed to offer any thermal benefit.
Infant goggles are recommended for children attending our toddler and preschool levels, and should be worn with a swim hat to prevent any hair tangles or discomfort. Infant goggles are not required for our baby level swimming lessons.
All adults must wear a swim hat and swimwear. A pair of clear-lensed, clear framed googles are also recommended, especially for parents attending our baby levels.

Parking

Free parking is available on the school grounds, directly outside of the pool centre.

Changing Rooms

Male, female, and family changing rooms are available. No buggies in the changing rooms, all buggies must be left in the Leisure Centre reception or other designated area. Car seats can be used in the Changing Rooms as required, please store them safely out of the way whilst your lesson is in progress. No food or snacks are to be consumed within the Changing Rooms, this is for both health and hygiene purposes.
