General Overview

This lovely warm, cosy pool at University Hospital Southampton is located in the Therapy department, on B level, West Wing. This is the perfect location for baby swimming from birth, toddler and pre school lessons. This pool is also perfect for SEN sessions including private 1:1 sessions.

The pool has stepped entry and is around 34 degrees which is perfect for newborns- No wetsuit needed!

There is some poolside seating meanting a spectator or 2 can come along 🙂

For post swim refreshments there are a range of shops and cafes open at weekends in the main hospital entrance, including Costa, M&S cafe and Subway.

Parking

You can park on the local streets around the hospital- there are no restrictions at weekends. You are also welcome to pay and park in the main hospital car park. The hospital is on an excellent bus route if you dont have access to a car.
