Hi, my name is Karina Reinhardt and I was delighted to bring Turtle Tots baby swimming lessons to Edinburgh and East Lothian in 2012.
As a competitive swimmer, lifeguard and swimming teacher while at school and university, swimming has always been a massive part of my life. I even met my husband whilst working as a lifeguard in the US!
Today, as the mother of three little ones I truly understand how important spending quality time as a family is, and how swimming is such a fun activity that everyone can enjoy together. I also know how important it is to make sure that children grow up knowing how to be safe and confident in the water.
Since having my children I’ve spent many fantastic hours with them at various baby classes, which really prompted me to want to return to teaching children again. So after spending years in the corporate world I decided to set up Turtle Tots in Edinburgh. I thoroughly enjoy doing swimming classes with my own children, all of whom are Turtle Tots swimmers, and am thrilled to be able to share my love of the water with other parents and their babies. Spending that special time with your child is such an amazing bonding experience that I really don’t think anyone should miss it!

Mum of 2, Katrina is a keen swimmer, and previously worked as an early years practitioner. She is now also training to become a primary school teacher! She teaches on Saturdays at Energize.

Jill is at her happiest with her 3 gorgeous dogs, ideally on a beach. She is also training to be a primary school teacher, and adores teaching her fabulous swimmers at Oriam every week.

Mum to one fabulous Turtle Tots swimmer. Lauren started off as one of our parents and loved it so much she decided to retrain as a baby and pre-school teacher! She teaches on Sundays at Beeslack, and loves seeing how much her swimmers can progress and have fun.
